Dear Friends - What an incredible trip this is becoming. We are finding the people of Cape Town very warm and friendly. All the perceptions from the states need some focus, and we certainly have gotten that now. Everything is not perfect, but very good. I wiped out my charger by plugging it into a 220 outlet (ok, ok - I mean I "knew" what I was doing - just can't believe I did it). I went off to the electronics story about that and some connections, and was waited on my a SA guy, named Sean Murphy - go figure.
